Training job aspirants
Classes for job-seekers are conducted to prepare them for competitive examinations. As a significant outcome of this effort, students have performed creditably over the last four years in the Tamil Nadu staff selection examinations. Seven of our students have joined the Tamil Nadu government as Junior Assistants, four have joined the Judiciary, one has joined the co-operative bank, and two others have joined co-operative societies.
Soft-skills training
Conversational English workshops, and the Toastmaster’s programme for Leadership and Public speaking are conducted by professionals, to help youth face interviews with confidence.
Promoting self-help groups
YOKE encourages women to hone their existing skills to augment their income. Quilting workshops are conducted. Self-help groups are also encouraged to take it forward.
